Hi, I'm an art gallery owner from Cape Town, South Africa. Most contemporary art galleries do publications about their artists in the form of books. I want to do something different, more relevant to today's art audience - mini-films. That's the reason I'm part of Stage 32 and keen to connect with you. www.lovellgallery.co.za
Nice to have you with us Tamzin, and I do love that name...
Hi Tamzin. That's a great idea. I've got a friend in South Africa whose a marketer/insurance guru who might know of a crew there. Let me send him an email and I'll get back to you.

Thank you Janet, Armando and Pat. Much appreciated
Great concept. I love it because I'm a writer and an artist. I'm sure you can pull it off.

Thanks for your positive responses. Ben, I'd like to create a series of stories that inspire people. When I started my gallery I had noticed, as an artist and an art lover, that the experience of visiting many galleries left me feeling 'small'. I set out to challenge this when I started my gallery and focused a lot of attention on ensuring people left taller than when they came in. The films need to do the same. I'm imagining telling stories about the artists I represent to share what we love about them, and leave the audience uplifted by the story, and inspired. That's a bit vague I know, I'd love to chat some more
Hi Tamzin. Im guessing its almost like a documentary, but more EPK of an artists work..well, something like that, but on film, which Id love to help create. Would you consider a young person to give it a try? Im a published author, and I make and edit my own short films for my youth film club I started. Im also very good with posters and anything on a pc that is creative. I love learning, and I have free time during the 3 weeks school holiday, and some weekends. I live in Cape Town, close to Canal Walk. Let me know if you would like to discuss with me. Thank you. :) Kimi
