"Misconduct" makes less than 150$ opening weekend in UK! We're talkin' Al Pacino and Anthony Hopkins! How is this even possible? Now I have to see this thing just to find out what went wrong :) http://bit.ly/24zFHIf

Pretty fascinating, no? I have an article on this ready for the Weekend Blog, but I imagine a much more conclusive autopsy is yet to come.

"How is this even possible?" One word- Ishtar!
I'd say, Jeff...
No longer marketable. We will be seeing a lot more of the good actors on their way out. As the last of the Baby Boomers who grew up with them, it's disheartening.
They're not 50, it's been a while lol....
Absolutely not true that they aren't marketable. Al Pacino still brings foreign sales value in spades.
My apologies they're marketable, but the new Millennials' don't care. We grew up with them. As for Diane Lane, Sally Field they're marketable and I enjoyed their perfomances in the Comic Book Movies. You guys have humbled me. The only remark that I will make is that I love Comic Book Movies, but I also miss the occasional spec film that gets franchised. A good psych thriller or political thriller. Richard, just an aside I watched your video on getting scripts read and critiqued. I'm going for it.
Jeff I won't try to make out I know how this business works, but I do know that is a film is screened in the uk in 5 small cinemas, with no publicity, then it's not about generating money at the box office. It's more like to be to trigger or comply with a clause in a contract that will ultimately either save money or make more money for somebody.
