So many significant changes internationally: Tell Me!
We are required to do a lot of ground work in our profession. internationally and locally which can pose circumstances of concerns including health. Composure can be adaptable for public relations factors and in very rare cases can attract the wrong attention, therefore the necessity to be equipped and being well trained. Although extreme situations is not known back here at home, it certainly doesn’t say no sense of connection and concerns should be made, "given all developments as said internationally"
This relates to the field of Anthropology. Some will suggest Divinity. Needless to say there are complications, sensitivities and some will suggest urgencies.
There are certainly therefore technical points involved, if progressively in comments relevance ensues.
This of course may require the appreciation of stage 32 moderators’ and credentials intervention and involvement, to which interest is always most welcomed.
Question therefore: Are there any pointers, scenarios accounts past and present anyone will like to relate to and discuss accordingly, as there seemingly are intensifying concerns?
Regardless of disposition however this makes for good conversation for futuristic assessment.
I’ll await general thoughts!

Eon C. Rambally I think youbare right, Eon, to highlight the health issues of our business. The stresses and strains put upon by ever-changing circumstances and shifts in the marketplace means that we have to be flexible and can’t formulate a fixed position, for making inroads into the industry.
We also have to rid ourselves of the notion that this is a pursuit for individualists; as we know, film production is about community and collaboration.
Beyond that, as discussed in another post here on Stage32 - I’ll post the link later - it’s not just about developing a broad network, but identifying people within it who can help you bring your project to market.
For me, this has been Sandra, who has guided me through this process and encouraged me along the way. There is still work to be done, but I have a companion to help me through it all.
Also, tomorrow - Monday - there will be a blog post that I’ve written about the inner work we need to do, when moving from writer to entrepreneur.

Geoff Hall, understood! Saw the presentation in the link. Therefore, for now, picture this scenario. As filmmakers, we’re obviously persons of certain characters, anyone basically can tell but you’re some part of this world, as some international reports are now eluding and relating, where you have to sort of hide that. Whom do you become then may decide your ‘wellbeing”. Hope you at least have good health and alert mental factors then. That’s Just one example the field of Anthropology will have to elaborate on, given the new developments before mentioned. Anyone’s guess hereon, you’ll certainly need an inner circle then and thankfully most welcomed!
However, with emphasis, not necessarily objectively, strangely, comes from news of recent attacks on filmmakers and creatives generally, all in some bizarre timing if you’d agree!
After viewed the post I’ll say it’s important and tremendous in taking your ideas to the next level.
You can invite persons form that discussion here, if you’d like.
I will comment later on the post

Eon C. Rambally hmmh, attacks on filmmakers? Please say more.
Geoff Hall, you’re welcome. We are at the forefront of entertainment when we carry certain titles, therefore when these statistics, shows up...
Yahav Winner (killed)

Including if not mistaken, whether "prank, fake or truth", recently seen on Facebook, the beheading of a female filmmaker? With present circumstances, clarification and notification should be made as it, again "whether prank, fake or truth", now affects us more than ever,
Filmmakers are getting a lot of increased attention lately which includes the LA fires, however we approach with optimism and “discussion”!

Eon C. Rambally ah, yes, I see what you mean. There’s been a lot of those attacks from the Iranian Revolutionary Government. I’ve shared a few of those incidents on Stage32. History testifies that authoritarian States fear and persecute artists. Just look at the Degenerate Art Exhibition in Nazi Germany.
Hitler’s pet project backfired, as at the same time another exhibition was hosted, showing what Hitler viewed as good Nazi art. It backfired, because more people went to the Degenerate Art Exhibition than the Nazi one. The people voted with their feet, I guess.
That Degenerate Art Exhibition has been a long talked about event because of its significance, with its then competition, both recorded having its influence also in today’s culture.
Many things therefore to consider in today’s cultural influences. For instance, new mind blowing discoveries in Egypt, to which I will post in the QU thread. However, complaints have been made by filmmakers in the past concerning accommodation in Egypt. How prevalent and causes, I don’t immediately have the statistics.
I’m really thankful and relieved for the post from the Lisbon Film Festival and commentaries as it shows yourself, Sandra and Stage 32, is way ahead with the situations and collaborations, that addresses various technicalities.
I will certainly, thankfully make the appropriate comment(s), that will be more suited for the relevant and various post(s), in attempt to encourage the best outcome of all “collectively” !
