New Short Film Noir!

Let me know what you think in the comments.

A detective (Zwijsen) and a psychopathic criminal (Brugge) meet once again for an interview. Although there's more proof than ever before, and all seems to go well for the detective, in this chess-like psychological battle between good and bad, and between mad and sane, a tape-recorder has caught the truth... or hasn't it?

Sounds cool. I only done Vintage Noir but this seems a modern Scandinavian Noir. It sounds like your script has a sting/switch where the voice recording has the last say and is a “prop” that becomes a third character. (Albeit not a human character). I am on mobile now so if you put link with thread it will not show but I will check it out next week on computer. (Where links Stage 32 show). Also get a cool and succinct log line. Its a good idea. Work on it and copyright.

Is the paragraph a log line or idea? If it is a log line I will comment on it. Thanks.

Hi only just seen your film because when I answered this thread before I was using I phone which does not show links. COOL FILM.....Superb Noir concept, characters beyond the pale, drowning outside the mainstream. The upside down distortion of real life. Night is day and day is night. What appears to be, is not. Loved the SWITCH at end where the guy who thought HE was detective got dragged out of interrogation room by white coats. Great vintage props. Cool they work. I got an old tape recorder that moved but did not produce sound so had to upload sound separate.
