I've sent a few pitches out over the last few months with really good feedback and some positive results. I had one Exec. ask for materials that got me really excited that my pitch and project were on the right track. However, I feel ghosted. I sent the materials back in September and it's been over four months with no response. I've reached out to the team here on Stage32 to see what the delay might be but still I've got nothing but crickets. I don't want to keep sending emails that could be dismissed and I don't want them to assume I'm some needy writer. Well, of course I AM, but that is besides the point. Also, my script is in a completely different shape from the time I sent it till now after a couple of rewrites. Should I even worry about the Exec and their feedback? Or do I press on hoping another exec will take a chance after going 1 for 11 on the pitches here on Stage32? Or lastly, do I give up on it? Feeling a little down about it lately and hoping for something better.

Hi Daniel Silvas! Thank you for sharing your concerns. We completely understand your confusion and want to assure you that we’re here to help! Most of the time, feedback timelines vary depending on the executive’s workload and timeline. We'd be happy to follow up with your exec to check on the status and get back to you with an update as soon as possible. Feel free to email us at moderator@stage32.com and let us know who your exec is and we can reach out to them!

Whats the question- the waiting or waiting for any response from Exec who requested script? Was Exec suppose to give you script feedback?

Dan MaxXx Well, when you send materials, it says there's about a 3 month review period. I honestly don't know exactly what that looks like. It's the first pitch I sent that has successfully engaged an Exec. Hence my anxiousness to know or to hear anything. She could tell me to go kick rocks for all I know. But, the NOT knowing kind of sucks.

I'm at the three month stage for a request for one of my scripts. I know the feeling, but there are times you really just have to wait. Sometimes the feedback has been very helpful, sometimes it's been a flat out pass, on occasion it never came at all.

For what it's worth, it's not usual to feel ghosted by people who disappear for months or even years. People suddenly have projects they have to jump into or opportunities to pursue.
