Monday Script Share: Collateral

Reading as many produced scripts as you can get your hands on is a HUGE factor in improving your own writing, so that's why I started the Monday Script Share. This week, it's a little Michael Mann goodness with the criminally underseen COLLATERAL. Download, read, and enjoy! http://readwatchwrite.com/monday-script-share-collateral/

Richard "RB" Botto

An awesome choice, Brad!

Brian Wareham

One of my favorite films.

Des Nnochiri

Great film; sharp screenplay. Good choice!

Pat Savage

Thanks it's a Michael Mann film nuff said :)

Michael Shandrick

Yes and No. Many produced scripts are written after the film has come out. I would much rather read a script from a writer who has a work in progress for the simple reason you have much greater choice of material. I know a writer whose work SHOULD have been made but was not made and didn't fit into the cookie-cutter mold of most Hollywood movies.

Such a great film, I read the screenplay a while back because the film does such a great job setting tone as an environmental experience. Colors, angles, grain, distance, silence, musical choices, everything is perfect. One of my favorite scenes from the film (because of the music): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDT1D7ysaeo

Glad you guys approve. To me, this is Mann's best film. Yes, better than Heat.
