Excited that my and my cowriter Matt Tribble's absurd animation "The Last Heavy Metal Wizard" is a quarterfinalist in the New Voices in Animation Contest! Congrats to all the others!
Logline: Fergus McRib is the last surviving Heavy Metal Wizard, and the only way to bring his people back is to restore the waning heavy metal fanbase, but his strict idea of what makes a true metalhead has lost more fans than he can count. When he is tasked with converting timid whale expert Piccolo Broncici into a metalhead, the two discover an ancient link between whales and heavy metal, and a devious conspiracy against the wizards.
