Just a short glance: Dignity Rising - Tied Souls After years of unmeant separation commander Jonathan William Matthews finds his lost wife Shay again at the spaceplatform „First-Contact-3“. His mask without emotions falls and his well-regulated world goes to the bottom. His wife is close to death and she has no remembrance of him or her family. She seems to be a deserter and hunted by the messengers of the High-Council. She takes refuge at the most exceeding place in outer space. Will Jon manage to free her from the claw-like hands of the High-Council? Because of her high-potential telepathy the High-Coucil has made Shay a messenger against her free will and took all her memories. But she is working against them. As a member of the Ancient-Guards she joins the rebels and fights violence and corruption. Herewith her death-penalty is sealed. With a dangerous artfulness its up to Jon to fake Shays death to get her loose from the hunters. Now she is free again, but still without remebrance of him. Alle, thx for your comment. My plot has nothing to do with clairvoyance or crime prevention, so I don't see any analogy to 'minority report'. Sorry for the mistakes in the text. In fact, my novel addresses women, even if the best recensions come from male readers. The story has more romantic than technical parts. As far as I understood, that was Marks critical point. Please make it clearer to me what is yours? Thank you!

Hi Alle, thx for the explication, I got Marks point and yours too. my plot (Part One) has 3 main female characters. Maybe I should urgently change the blurb ;-)

Not to sound too cynical, but since when has Hollywood cared whether small subplots are stolen from other movies?

Hi Sten, thx. But I want to make it clear that I stole absolutely nothing. I guess you can find analogies wherever you dig for it.

By no means did I mean to suggest that you'd stolen anything. I was merely pointing out that even the most obvious similarities between movie plots won't phase Hollywood. I haven't read your synopsis. My examples would be Hunger Games & Divergent. And I'm assuming there will be at least two or three more movies from different book series before Hollywood gets tired of them.

My example if I may intrude in your discussion: Mission to Mars / Prometheus...

Oh I'm certainly not him. Nor do I want to be him. Doesn't mean I don't have some ambitions for myself! ;) I've met a few of his old collaborators online or in real life. My ears need wisdom from time to time... ;)
