I recently reconnected with stage 32. I've been writing for the past 10 years. My passion to write and create stories gives me that escape to a world where I feel anything is possible. When watching Superman with the legendary Christopher Reeve, I wanted to be that hero who forgot to sometimes get the orange juice(freshly squeezed) for Lois. With that said; I'm wondering if my loglines need a bit of tweaking or if my stories need a bit of work, before I start submitting to festivals, or maybe just submitting to agents? Or should I consider a writing partner? I'm open to any ideas and would greatly appreciate it.

Welcome back, William Monette. Great to meet you. I'm about to check out the loglines on your profile. Stage 32 also has a Logline Review service (www.stage32.com/scriptservices/coverage/buy?id=22) and feedback services you could use your scripts to see if they need work (www.stage32.com/scriptservices).
You could also partner with a writer to help you polish your loglines and scripts. There are a lot of talented screenwriters on Stage 32. You could make a post on the Job Board (www.stage32.com/find-jobs).

Welcome back to Stage 32, William! It’s amazing that you’ve been writing for 10 years—that kind of dedication speaks volumes about your passion for storytelling. I love how your connection to Christopher Reeve’s Superman inspired your creative journey; it’s always special when a story sparks that kind of magic.
As for your questions, refining loglines is always a great starting point. A strong logline not only grabs attention but also helps you clarify your story’s core message, which is super helpful when pitching to agents or festivals. If you’re open to collaboration, a writing partner can bring fresh perspectives and push your creativity in unexpected ways, but trust your instincts on whether it feels right for you.
The community here is a goldmine for feedback, so don’t hesitate to share your loglines or ideas. You’re in a great place to grow, and I’m excited to see where your journey takes you!

Thank you so Laquan. Yes, Superman was a big inspiration for me. I have always enjoyed fantasy and the possibilities of what could be. Loglines have always been tough for me, and my lest favorite to write, but I understand its essential part of drawing someone into your story. I'm always open to collaboration, and I feel its a great way to introduce new perspectives to a story. I would of course have to see if it's a great fit. Thanks so much for the feedback. This community inspires me to keep pushes on, and I'm grateful for everyone here, and wish the best for everyone's journey.
