So? A young, award-winning, indie writer-director-producer requested I send her my nominated horror screenplay during a Pasadena festival after party....

Question: Do I send it out, or take the time to get to know her professional background before tossing it into her filthy mitts? Checked her out on IMDb and everything looks legit. We hit it off pretty well and exchanged contact info. I emailed her with an invitation to call her in order to discuss specifics. Should I pursue this avenue of possible Insta-Fame, or just stick to the usual All-Star lineup of Stage 32 producers / lit managers instead?

P.S. The Pasadena International Film Festival was a blast!

My first time ever with a rental car in LA traffic was CRAZY!!!

Congratulations on the script request, Bill Brock! You did a little networking ("We hit it off pretty well"), you did your due diligence, and the more avenues the better. I suggest sending the script.
