Hey everyone, My name is Christian, I'm 28 and I'm working on becoming a screenwriter and hopefully, I'll ultimately get to be a movie director. I hope this is the right place to post this but if not, please let me know and I'll take care of it as quickly as I can. I'm mainly posting this here because I'm writing a story and I wanted somewhere to show it, get the word out and maybe, even get some feedback on the story.
I attended the Academy of Art University from 2017 to 2023, going for a screenwriting degree before I had to take a break due to financial reasons. I took experiences with editing both videos and sound, doing our own version of scenes like the famous "Do you feel lucky, punk?" scene with our own sounds or writing pitches along with stories.
I'm currently writing one story that I intend to make into a movie. I've already gotten it copyrighted and I'm just writing out the scenes. I've included the first two scenes so that you could see what it's like and if you're interested, please give me some feedback. I'll include some notes about the story below so you can understand what's going on.
The story is a surreal thriller about a film crew that investigates a haunted house that's guarded by mercenaries. The main character is a first time director with experienced crew members responsible for finding the house, thanks to an invisible spirit that followed her since childhood, but the creature isn't really a ghost and the story takes an unexpected turn when they finally enter the house. Two of the characters in the story are supposed to be possessed by one each, allowing them to see what the spirits actually look like. The spirit that follows the main character also allows her to heal. If anything else is strange, it's probably because it'll be revealed later down the story but if you want to know more about it, please ask me anything.
