I usually imagine my stories working as an anime TV show, a video game, and a movie. Each one lets the world feel different: anime shows the style and emotions, games let you play in it, and movies bring it to life on the big screen.
What combo do you like best when telling stories on different platforms? Like Star Wars (movies + cartoons + books), The Matrix (movies + anime + games), or Halo (games + shows + comics)? I’d love to hear what formats you think are best for building your world.

Novel, spin off novellas of characters in novel, comic, screenplay & film. Being no techie gaming is not for me & would not pay others to execute my idea unless have a massive built in fan base.

Nice combo Maurice Vaughan. Movies, shows, and games really let you cover all the bases for story, character, and immersion. That mix gives fans so many ways to dive in and stay connected to the world.

Very interesting combo Debbie Croysdale, I like how it gives readers multiple ways to experience your world while keeping the focus in formats you’re most comfortable with.

I would like to realize my idea of a horror-fantasy project "Goddess of Death" in the form of a comic book, TV series, films and a video game. The same applies to another project in the cyberpunk genre "Black Glowing Water".
I see comics as a short-term investment vehicle. It can be created quickly and start selling within a year. Comics are good as proof of concept stories for more serious and expensive projects like TV series, movies and video games.
TV series and movies are good for medium-term investment for 2 to 5 years.
Video games are more suitable as a long-term investment for 5 years or more.

That’s a strong, well-structured plan, Arthur. I like how you’ve mapped each format to a different investment horizon. It feels both creatively ambitious and strategically grounded. I also love the cyberpunk genre, and your Black Glowing Water concept sounds intriguing.

This is incredible, Alex Bright. The board game approach especially shows how much thought and strategy you’ve poured into this universe. It’s clear you’re building something expansive, deeply interconnected, and genuinely fun!

Right now we are trying to connect with an EP/Show-runner that can assist with collaboration . We are looking to launch the game on a crowdfunding platform.
