Another Genius, Miles Davis, used silences in his phrasing as he was improvising over the changes and in his compositions. Thanks Brian, for the message, I also have huge admiration for Beethoven. SJJ

Great example Stephen! I own "Bitches Brew" and met Miles' nephew a few times (who is now the one who owns Miles' white Ferrari)
