For those of you who have sold a project, or were on the verge of selling one, what was the process like? Wondering if the feelings I'm having are me being a noob, just nerves or mutual.

What feelings are you having? For me, a producer I'm connected to put up a post on FB asking for scripts so I sent him my short and he bought it. As simple as that.

Maybe it's anxiety. You work so hard, many long nights pushing through re-writes, nights when you don't feel like writing, and then to finally get a call and offer. In a way it's surreal. You know it could happen, it is why you start the journey afterall. It's exciting, but I'm finding it almost...sad, in a way. Not sure what it is. Maybe the finality that I no longer have to worry about the project and putting it into someone else's hands with hope that it gets made, and made well. It reminds me of sending your first child to school, hoping he's taken care of by the adults and makes it out okay. LOL

Well that's just it, you've brought something to life and put in the effort to make sure it fits in wellwith the rest of the film world and now you have to hand it over to someone else. Sure, hope it will turn out okay but don't drive yourself crazy over it because it won't turn out as you imagined but it's out of your hands now. If you got paid for it, good, now move on.
Hi my name is Farzin youabian and my first script is comedy and i rewrite this script to many times looking for producer is really hard
When a producer selects a stage play and casts it, the dramatist is invited to rehearsals. The lines I wrote never sound the same way in a player's mouth. Meaning, emphasis, emotion will be so different that it becomes another thing altogether. Startling.
Well give me the location equipment and entire crew and let me read your script and i would be an fantastic director .Farzin Youabian will do his best to direct your Films.
