Anthony/Taylor, I've seen several producers here on Stage 32 - even networked with some of them. They are here. Maybe not that many compared to aspiring screenwriters/directors/actors etc., but there are some here.

@David, agree but I meant in they are less likely to be in this Lounge, but they are around on S32, I've had two short scripts picked up by producer here.

Actually, producers often peruse the "screenwriting" section of the Lounge. They may not comment, but they're around. ;)

Oh, and Taylor, just some practical advice; "direct" self-promotion (Hey, look at me!) isn't as effective as networking and building relationships. Give, give, give before you ask for something. :) Anyway, I wish you the best with your script and enjoy the site!

@Beth - technically three scripts but one of them has had the option lapse ;-( So two currently optioned and good point re adding it to the sucesses, happened at the end of April so probably should! And thanks for the kind words re the articles, just paying it forward. Anthony

"Pay it forward" really is the best approach. :) Anyway, please do post your success, Anthony. It's great news. :) And, Ally, yeah, it does sound a bit creepy, but the point is we do have worldwide membership with people from all aspects of the industry and from all different levels with a variety of experience. Put yourself out there. You never know, right? ;)
