Hello, I'm Ashley Stone from West Kelowna, BC (Canada). I'm very new here! I suppose you could call me a screenwriter as I've written a few screenplays (which have yet to appear on screen). Perhaps being a part of this community will change that? I've written mostly romantic dramas and had even optioned one which was pretty exciting. I'm hoping to make some connections and meet some fellow "dreamers" such as myself.

Hey Ashley, a fellow BC-er! I'm from Nanaimo but I grew up in Vernon. Stage 32 is an amazing resource and I've only begun to scratch the surface here. I am a screenwriter focussing right now on my YouTube channel. I post weekly uploads of the comedy sketch variety (with an emphasis on dogs, 'cause I love and train dogs too!) If you'd like to check it out it's at: https://www.youtube.com/user/janlaidlaw I highly recommend the classes at Stage 32 - they are some of the best classes I've taken anywhere. Many years ago I went to TV production school and have worked over 20 years as a copywriter and video producer. There is always more to learn! Good luck and keep dreaming!

I'm a dreamer as well. See myself in a TV series whereby my character grows on the viewing audience.
