The Kendrick brothers' War Room is currently No. 1 in the nation, moving past Straight Outta Compton and earning $9.3 mil this weekend. I met Stephen Kendrick and Bill Reeves (WTA Group) this weekend and heard their takes on the success of the film, but I'd love to hear other perspectives about why War Room is making huge waves. Why is it doing so well, and why is it such a draw for audiences?

I think it's very simple. And very complicated. They made a movie people wanted to see. And the people who saw it told others they like it.
