I am thrilled to announce that THE HAND OF A WOMAN, my swords and sandals screenplay based on chapters 4 and 5 of the Bible's Book of Judges, won the $10,000 second runner up Kairos Prize for Spiritually Uplifting Screenplays (sponsored by Movieguide and the John Templeton Foundation) at the Movieguide Awards on Friday 5 February. Movieguide flew me to Los Angeles from Alice Springs, Australia, and put me up at the Universal Hilton for four nights! I got to walk the red carpet at the awards! Highly recommend this contest if you have a screenplay that meets their guidelines!
