I’m talking about two different things here. For anyone who works in this industry or desires to do so, whether you’re an actor, performer, writer, musician, or designer, you want your work to be noticed. Not just noticed, but acknowledged on whatever level it deserves. Everyone wants to be recognized for what they bring to the party no matter how large or small their contribution is. Like any other industry on the planet there are always going to be those who noticeably standout as well as those who are content to fulfill their obligations and call it day. In that respect, no one needs a sheepskin from Harvard to know this is not an industry for wallflowers or shrinking violets. It is an industry that, as you would expect, draws talent to it by the trainload...
