Anything Goes : Creative Intuition by Ron Greenfield

Creative Intuition

I’ve often wondered what constitutes or dictates the criteria for the creative choices we make in our work. In today’s world, it appears to be a wide open field because our culture appears to be so non-linear, but in actuality it is quite structured. At the outset of any creative undertaking, we enter into it with an idea or notion, but it is something that grabs our attention, tends to stay with and grow on us, and hopefully will emerge into a work that can be compelling and entertaining. At any given point in the creative process, choices are being made. Most of the time we’re not fully conscious of them, but they’re always in play.
