The first thing I want to say which is on the top of my mind is :GRATITUDE. How very grateful I am to RB , his dedicated staff and the fellowship of this community. When I sat in that Bagel shop at 3 AM in the morning on August 16 2014 I did not have a clue of what I was doing. All I knew is I had a story to tell. A true story, of an actual New York Times front page event that I was involved in back in 1985. Over the next several weeks as it poured out of me in (10) small memo pads and eventually a finished 847 page draft. I had no idea where to go next. Thank God for Stage 32.. Over the following year with guidance, education, tools and comments from my fellow "Happy Writers" It is now a copyrighted, polished properly formatted Celtx script of 105 pages ready for production. Being the third generation of a New York Show Business Family I always knew it was in my DNA. But I chose a lifetime career in Advertising and sales instead of Show Business. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine at 63 years old to be writing a screenplay. But here I am and the journey continues. After "Hope Saves Manhattan" was finished I looked back over my life and experiences in this great city and one after the other more stories came to the surface. At this writing there are 18 scripts in my Celtx folder. I started a production company called City & Suburban Motion Pictures, and I am looking forward to the first table read of my script with actors and actresses I connected with here on Stage 32. You could call it a success story. But first things first. I just want to close with this: if anyone is new to Stage 32 or just coming back stick around for the miracle. A personal shout out to RB my fellow Brooklynite who had the foresight and wisdom to establish this greatest creative fellowship since Shakespeare had the gang over for mutton and ale to talk shop.

Fantastic story Steven. Very much appreciate you sharing it. Such positivity is certainly to good to keep bottled up. Congrats with the process and final development. Best wishes to you as well with all else you have planned. If you would have me I would be honored to be a part of anything you have conjured. How true that the vibes from this site just spread like wildfire. I can not verbalize how much of an impact this site as well as all of the wonderful stories that folks share have had on me personally. An incredible residual effect on me, haven't felt this great in years. Just keep pushin forward, the sky is the limit. Take care.
