I am an artist, mother and drummer. I love art I live and breathe it. I paint on canvas, paper, wood and walls. I mostly use acrylic and sometimes color pencils or markers and just plain old pencil and paper. I also am enrolled in college to obtain my degree in Computer Animation. Have been learning programs such as 3DS Max, Adobe Creative Cloud. Most of my videos were done using Adobe some in 3DS Max. I will soon be learning ZBrush as well.

Thanks Ammad sure will.
Fantastic to have you here, Reneta!
Hi and Welcome! I just love the skill of making art on materials, something I've never done, but my mum did a lot of stuff as a student of Henry Moore.
Debbie does she still texture?

@Reneta Answer to further up thread. Hi my Mum no longer around but she did do texture in the past, and worked with oils/canvas, metals, and leather. She was the only woman in Leeds with a kiln in the garage and used to turn out clay and bronze heads. Times have changed off course. I really like your 3DS Max work. We need good artists to produce atmospheric backdrops to our films.

Sorry about your mum hope you kept some of her work as I am sure it means a lot to you. I loved working with ceramics to. Took a few courses years ago in high school. Had other students stuff blow up in the kiln because they could not follow directions and it messed up a few of my pieces. Would really love to hear what atmospheric backdrops you are interested in.

Hi I already have my locations and backdrops for most of my shorts, n posted a couple photos log line box. It's my Noir I'm looking for an unusual angle, thinking of 1950s comic style characterisation for inclusion into trailer, and may well use comic book illustrator. Eg. A live act then a comic backdrop, another actors live act and comic book backdrop again etc. Sorry about your ex students causing mayhem in the kiln, these things are funny looking back, one of my mums ex students once dropped someone's satchel into a vat of dye. We are out and about Uk at the moment searching for the right look for the Noir. Just shot this sculpture in Leeds, LOL It could be in a 60s noir titled "These boots are made for Walking."
@Debbie Croysdale I kind of like the angle. I am working up a mind craft painting for a 7yr old little boy who has never opened presents before. The birthday is July 31, 2017. I am going to look at something and will get back you. I really like those boots. Nice idea.
Debbie I have an idea for you a back drop think about an 1950's car something like a Cadillac.
Wow many thanks. I didn't reply sooner cos I'm always in transit where wi fi is unstable. Just got a hotel pass word for wi fi. Ha ha ......great minds think alike......I've been haunting specialist "Noir" comic shops, and also thought of this kind of uber bling feel for the poster. Your super pink car has really cheered me up. This photo from my hotel bar with one of my rare book finds. Now to grab a dirty martini and a hard boiled cop.....ha ha not really. Cheers!
Let us know when you have decided the psychological edge of the painting for the little boy who has never opened presents before. Quite a tough one, age eight and never had the normal inquisitive thrill, satiated greed/glee , of unwrapping a childhood gift. I suppose there would be a mix of bewilderment, curiosity and resentment on the child's part. Or maybe something more special is coming his way, the other kids can only dream of.

Thanks Debbie here is when he opened. The picture does not do it justice.
Thanks for the feedback! The photo speaks a million words. True Indie Art, that moves the physical being and touches the soul.
