Those of you who know me here at S32 are probably familiar with my strong belief in cultivating and sustaining friendships with other scriptwriters. And S32 is a great place to make those friends. Let me provide you with a perfect example.
Yesterday, because of an opportunity that came my way, I determined I needed a quick proofread for one of my scripts from a capable writer. Within a few hours, I had a commitment from award winning Linda Hullinger to proofread my work. Within half a day, she did a brilliant job helping me with getting my script cleaned up. Consequently, I'll feel a lot more confidant in putting this work into the hands of the interested party.
If you have an account have some of your S32 friends have helped you, please feel free to share them.
Boomer: CJ, Kathryn, Paul and Shawn are all great folks. There's an abundance of talent here. Great community.

I've made some great screenwriting friends on here (and SimplyScripts), who have helped me with specific scripts and just in general... so, and since he started the thread, I'll call out Phillip (a true gent)... and also CJ, Beth H, Fiona FR, John H to name but a few...
Also and it probably goes without saying... but the level of reciprocity on here constantly amazes me.

Thanks for the kind words, Phillip. I was happy to help. The timing worked out great for me because I was able to start on it immediately yesterday. Not so sure that I could've gotten it back to you as quickly under normal circumstances. lol But, either way, I would have done what I could to help.
In regard to who has helped me from this site.....everyone on here who has posted something has made a difference in the way I view screenwriting. So much talent and knowledge shared each and every day. It's like attending a variety of conferences but without all the hassles. :-)

First of all, thanks Phillip for being one truly amazing human being, contributor and writer here on this our community. A year Tony, was that fellow Stage 32 member and screenwriter, who not only gave me excellent, to the point feedback on one of my screenplays, but he also highlighted all my typos. TB, as he goes by when we write to each other on gmail, always grateful, fellow New Yorker. Last I like to second what Linda said, everyone here is very giving of their time and experience, so to each of the members that at some point I've come in contact with, a big thank you!! Richard "RB" Botto, thanks to you and the entire S32 team for this gift you named Stage 32.
I will chime in here. While I haven't had anyone here read my scripts yet (other than coverage that I paid for here) I have had help and advice from Phillip that has been invaluable to me. It's not always about direct help though. Reading the threads and learning from all the knowledgeable people here has helped me avoid some of the easy mistakes to make and inspired me to work hard and really learn the craft.
Of course, what I've learned most is how much I have to learn, which can be daunting in itself, but that too, is a good journey to take. So thank you everyone for helping me move forward as a writer, and especially Phillip, who I look up to as a mentor, and value as a friend.

Dan MaxXx has helped me immensely - not in screenwriting but in dealing Three-Card Monte. Now who seen dat red card?

Bill C: The perfect union of The Big Apple and the Windy City. With a bit more training and a little less honest, you might make a good Ganef.
Phillip: We bring the purity and zen of hustling to its most righteous levels. Heh-heh.
Happy Passover and Happy Easter, Mr. H! And it's Rockabilly Weekend at Viva Las Vegas - it's gonna be a cool time, Daddy-O! Here's a cool Internet radio station. http://www.rockabilly-radio.net/

Max from my network on stage 32 did coverage for two of my scripts. It was very insightful and helpful.

Izzibella and I traded scripts and feedback. It was helpful, and I need to do more of that.

Excellent
Someone who used to be on Stage32 was very helpful to me 2 years ago. However, he was often obnoxious to others and he was banned from the site.

LindaAnn: You must be obnoxiousproof.
Thank you, Philip. I was respectful and received enormous help from Peter C. -- and I reciprocated. He is a guy with a chip on his shoulder + lot of problems. Stage 32 banished him (along with Lisa Scott, Victor Greywolf, et al).

Linda and Anthony:
I did battle with all of them. Anthony and I became friends as a result of our train wreck fascination with A.S., the greatest expert on everything.

The Ghost of Beth Fox Heisinger flits about and says, "Please, no personal insults and return to topic." I say, let's have some respect for the dear departed, and remember them with fondness in our hearts.

I can never forget what's-izz-name and A.S. I remember a few of you did an EPIC take-down of A.S. . . . and then there was quiet and serenity in Stage32-ville.

LindaAnn: I do seem to remember asking A.S. if she was enjoying her new job as test pilot at the broom factory.
Yes, indeed, Philip. With A.S., as you know, the personal PRONOUN was up for debate.
