Anything Goes : What's your mission? by Kaye Bewley

Kaye Bewley

What's your mission?

Exploring your thoughts...

When creating your stories:

How do you decide your character's mission in life? Do you have trouble identifying it? Or are you able to find it by simply 'knowing' it?

Why do you create the worlds you create in your stories? What do you want people to learn from the scenario you have created?

Do you know why antagonists exist in your stories? Is their role in your personal life? Are you battling them, or have you battled them yourself? If so, do you put what you have learned, into your stories?

Where have you learned your values from? A person who is special to you? A culture? A government? A religion? Are you aware of putting these thoughts and ideas into your stories?

Why do you create stories? What burns inside you that makes you want to tell your story?

Yes, it's a shame some took it so seriously. Perhaps you ought to weave that 'attitude' into your story! Talk about having to explain a joke, eh!

Kaye Bewley You know it goes with the territory. Just got to move forward. Thanks for your support. I am really enjoying that thread. Can't believe a simple multiple choice screenwriting book question got us an idea for a movie. Really hope somebody runs with it. I have (3) copyrighted scripts now that I have in development plus another (3) that I am trying to finish. So I have a full plate. But I so love writing. Anyway take care Kaye
