Hello everyone. Im planning on making the move to LA this Fall and am kinda lost. What are the safest areas on a budget?
Any advice is very appreciated? :)

Seems like you could get alot done in Austin - isn't the city loaded with talent?

Yes and no. We have a lot of great things but I need a chance of scenery. I was born and raised Texas and it's not like it used to be.

There's some good areas in Burbank, Glendale, North Hollywood ... Burbank is pretty safe with an approx 3-5 minute response time for the police.

Awesome thanks Shawn. I'm not sure yet who I am but I do know that in the next year, ill be ready to find out. After years of being a mom, army wife, daughter and everything I'm not, i'm looking forward to finding out who I really am. Ill hit you up next week. Going out of town this weekend.

Thank you Dan. I'm thinking of the beach area. Truilia has a great safety zone map so that has helped me (now that I found it). I've gotten used to traffic being in Texas. It seems like all of Cali is moving here so that 2 hours is 1 way on 35 in the morning.
And being a Texas girl, I think I was born with a gun in my hand lol. Thanks for the tips :)
