Hi fellow screenwriters!
I just moved to LA after living in London for the past 3 1/2 years, and I was very excited to start networking and collaborating once I landed. Unfortunately I arrived one week before the city went on lockdown, and haven't even been able to look for an apartment or job! Currently staying in an AirBnB till May, and hoping I'll be able to meet some lovely people through Stage 32 to discuss the LA screenwriting community.
I'm an optioned screenwriter (TV), hold an MA in Screenwriting from London Film School, and have worked across every type of indie project you could imagine - web series, TV, film, content, etc. However, I have very few connections in LA, as I've been living abroad for nearly 4 years. If anyone is up for a chat or looking to connect with other writers for motivation (or commiseration) I'd love to hear from you!

I, myself, just moved about 9 months ago from DC, so I know how it can be. I gotta say, going to the in-person Stage32 meet-ups has been a lot of fun (you'll have to wait for that one), but I really appreciate the resources and encouragement abundant here. I hope we can be a positive reflection of what LA has to offer you!
Also, not gonna lie, little envious of your extended time in London. It's one of my favorite cities! My husband and I took a lovely food tour there a few years back and never knew the best Fish & Chips place is a little stand at Borough Market. Seriously, I know it's expensive there, but that's where I'd like to retire, I love it so much. LOL! #nojoke
