Introduce Yourself : A Screenwriter in Scranton, PA! (Yes- 'The Office' was fictionally set here!) by Jim Catizone

Hello Everyone!

I'd like to formally Introduce myself to all of you lovely folk!

My name is Jim Catizone. I'm an aspiring Screenwriter. I say this because, I've never sold any scripts, or for that matter had any of mine Professionally Critiqued.

I work (normally) in the Service Industry as a Restaurant Manager.

So, like many of us.. temporarily unemployed.

I've been using this time to 'Beef-Up' my Presence on the internet in the Industry.

I have various Screenwriter Representative Pages online. The three I utilize the most are Stage 32, Film Freeway, and Ink-Tip.

I don't really have any funny weekend anecdotes or anything that is gonna make you lose your mind over my Introduction. I wish I did. :-) However; one little fact about me.. I grew up in Centralia, PA. Home of the Famous mine fire.. not just the fictional location of 'Silent Hill'.

I went to school in the early 2000s, for Broadcasting and Journalism. Both of which I utilized perfectly right from the confines of whatever restaurant I was working at. ;-) I decided to pursue Screenwriting because of a creative interest to tell stories since I was very young.

As of now.. I've written six original screenplays and adapted one.

I've just completed the first Outline for my next Screenplay, so I plan to start writing in the next week or two.

I'm glad to be part of Stage 32 and hope to build some like minded peers to help me better understand the Industry.
