Hi Joanna. I am from India. Most producers in India work with English scripts. A Hindi dialogue writer is hired once the project is greenlit.

Welcome. :)
hi Karen. the easy way around this is go to your local college and get a teacher that specializes in that language. They will love to help you, free of charge. cornell.....
Thanks for all your suggestions. Much appreciated. I found a really good translator who's also a Director's assistant. She spoke to the Hindi-speaking possible Funder in Hindi. She found out his terms and they were not workable for us - way way too expensive and unreasonable!. We set up a conference call to see if he was at all flexible and he refused to participate.
Hi Joanna,
I hope you are in good health. As you are dealing with films, let me explain something, which, I am sure, you are aware of too. I have seen films, which have incurred huge budget but their stories are humdrum and dry. Comparing my stories with theirs, I find mine quite interesting and exciting, plus educationally prolific. I wonder why those producers and filmmakers are not taking advantages of good stories to at least offset their expenses, time, and efforts.
Best wishes,
