Congrats, Derek! Who did you pitch? What was the project? How did it go? I've been thinking of doing a live pitch. So far, all I've done is submit through writing. The deadline is tomorrow. Curious to see what happens.

Congrats Derek Johnson .I've done live and written pitches. I lean toward live pitches. You get to show more personality and enthusiasm. Also indicates how prepared you are. Practice, practice, practice. That's the key.

Douglas Brown , if you're going to do a live pitch, you can practice it at the Pitch Practice sessions each Thursday. Join us this Thursday to see how it's done, and stay for the monthly Happy Hour after! It's also a great way to network. If you're interested by not a member of the Writers' Room, just email Jason Mirch, Director of Script Services, at J.Mirch@Stage32.com for a free month's membership in the Writers' Room.
