Wow this was a really nice thing to hear. Not only to hear that sometimes you've got to make mistakes to find your path but also how important creativity, expression and art is.
Most of the time people take it for granted. I see this more and more in our parts because the general people tend to see creative people as lazy artist but I keep wondering how empty their lives would be without a designer imagining all the stuff around them, a musician making music for them to hera, a filmmaker creating interesting stuff for them to watch or even a writer writing a book for them to read on vacation. Then the world becomes a dull, gray place with no emotion and that's sad.
