The only people who achieve their dreams without an insane amount of hard work are people with unbelievable luck or unbelievable privilege.
If you want your dreams to come true, it's time to grow up and own up to the fact that they are going to take everything you have to achieve. If you have a dream, take a piece of humble pie and realize that you are not the only person to have it. In fact, there are probably thousands and thousands of others with that same dream.
So if you want that dream to become a reality, you will need to engage in a kind of self awareness, discipline and hard work that separates yourself from those others.
Don’t stop dreaming… just make sure you pair that dreaming with actually running after it and finding people along the way who can help you along.

Ouch!... lol
Keep on dreaming and running!
And remember too that you must believe in yourself - if you don't; no one else will either. The people you find along the way won't help you if you won't help yourself.
Last month, Black List website owner/Producer Franklin Leonard cause a shitstorm tweeting about Hollywood is not a meritocracy. Actor Ben Stiller got caught up and backtracked his responses.
Yes, working hard is kinda like breathing. But what else can you bring to the table?
Spoken like a no-nonsense producer! Thanks for that "get to work" kick in the pants, Jacob Matthew! * long-distance high-five *
This is wonderful encouragement! I think sometimes social media only shows the highlight reel of someone winning and not the day to day choice to continue the decision to keep moving forward.
It's a marathon, not a sprint!
Nicely put. Thank you! :)
