The News I Needed…

So this just happened to me…I’m an official selection for The Script Awards Los Angeles for Best Short Script for September! I didn’t win it but holy crap…I will take Quarter Final spot any day of the week! I get a Laurel and a Certificate.

This is just the news I needed and am so damn grateful.

Going to go and enjoy a few celebratory drinks now!

Have a great week everyone!

Matthew Wauchope

Congratulations! The last time I entered a film in a festival I got final four in best thriller category. I also didn’t win but for a festival with over 500 entries from all over the world... I too will take it!

Eric Sollars

Congrats, keep at it. Next time maybe you'll surprise yourself.

Mike Romoth

It's all about the future. Congrats and keep moving forward.

Jonathan Kramer

Congratulations!

Kristin Holloway

Congratulations! This is so great! Keep on creating.

Angela Cristantello

Amazing! Congratulations, Mark!

Marven Likness

Congratulations, it always gives a big boost to the writing inspiration to have placement. I did not expect my first year to do that for me. I was happily surprised.

Jim Boston

Mark, way to go! Wishing you all the VERY BEST!

Doug Nelson

That's a nice healthy ego stroke for sure. I encourage you to keep writing and don't let that go to your head.

John Mezes

Nice job, Mark! Way to go! Enjoy the placement in the competition and celebrate, but jump right back on that writing horse of yours, and keep the creative fires burning. I know how you feel, a script of mine placed as a quarterfinalist in the Screencraft Screenwriting Fellowship Contest this year, and it was an amazing feeling. Keep up the success story!

Ben Fox

YES SIR! That's what I'm talking about

Shannon K. Valenzuela

Congratulations, Mark! This is awesome!

Mark Palmer

Thanks for all the incredible supportive comments everyone. This little acknowledgment has done two things for me…given me massive self belief and my motivation to keep on writing has never been higher! Big love everyone!
