I'm the guy standing next to the guy looking for another guy...

Indie Filmmaker out of Atlanta, GA here. I have about 8 trailers that I shot independently as proof of concepts for producers/investors/distributors. Here's one of them. Its a body swap comedy with a racial spin. If you're a producer looking for an up and coming filmmaker with raw talents you've just won.

Doug Nelson

Interesting comedic concept. Just my personal pov - punch-up the color grading a bit (it's kinda flat).

Cherelynn Baker

This looks like a fun watch - enjoy the process!

Lisa Lee

Interesting concept!

Martin Reese

Really cool.

Kacee Potential

I have no idea what this show is about. I agree with Doug Nelson about the color also it looks a bit grainy on my end. The thing about trailers is that there currently are no known actors in yours and the producers may wonder if the cast in the trailers is also going to be the cast in the series? Never come with a cast (unless they are A list) when trying to pitch your series. Technically you do not need any proof of concept trailers to sell your script. You just need to know how to pitch and you can search online for the details. Best of luck!!!

Thanks for the feedback everyone!!

Donny Broussard

I don't dislike the concept, but if you really want to draw people to the project I would cut it to a shorter length. The acting is all over the place and some of the shooting looks amateurish. However, you are putting in the work to get your vision in front of people and that's to be applauded. In my opinion, you should keep working on the script, and if you want to make a proof-of-concept that will impress, then find a better DP and make it short.
