I'm feeling a little guilty this weekend. On Thursday I entered the first annual Female-Driven screenwriting competition because I thought it was the perfect place to showcase a few of my scripts. That is because my focus is female-driven stories. At the moment I've only entered once, but I have another couple of scripts that I may enter. It bothers me because I feel I'm somewhat distracting from the Girl Power of this contest. I say somewhat because I only want these projects to be produced and directed by women and I'd be cool with a female writer being brought in to take a pass or two at the scripts. What are your opinions on the subject?

Hey Paul French! Not to worry my friend! The competition is open to ALL! The protagonists and narratives only need to be female-driven. No need to feel guilty. You are a remarkable storyteller and that will come through. For those of you who do not know what Paul is talking about, click here and all will be explained: https://www.stage32.com/happy-writers/contests/1st-Annual-Female-Driven-...
Thanks, Jason.
Paul, I look so very forward to seeing what you have!
Hey Paul, I would like to join your network. I also write female driven stories and would love to connect and maybe get consulting or coverage. Best, Indy
Thank you Angela.
Indy I just sent you a network request. I look forward to connecting with you.
Eh, I submitted my TV pilot to the same contest! I don't see any problem with you participating in that contest, Paul. :)
I guess it depends on the intention of the creators of the competition. All the best. Bec
