Congratulations on completing your first official short film! You've definitely got the creepy tone down! This reminds me of a festival where you could only use the line "Who's there?" as the dialogue (same tone), but I'm glad you added more. Your female co-star is very dynamic! Keep her around!
LOL! I love that your screen read, "I have no idea what to write" LOL! Did you direct and produce, or just direct? Who ran your camera? I only ask to find out who else helped you through your creative process as a director.
Actually, I'd love for you to write a post about your first experience in the Filmmaking Lounge! Maybe share some of your challenges and triumphs? https://www.stage32.com/lounge/directing
Lol I actually took that from Scream 4! Yes, I directed, wrote, and produced the film. Everyone on screen were camera operators throughout the entire production. As far as the creative process goes as a first time director, I honestly just figured it out along the way and did my research on how to make a film with an iPhone using attachable lenses, filters, and filmic pro. I didn't have a shot list or anything, I just saw the movie in my head and communicated that as best as I could during the shoot. But my friends were a huge help in operating the camera the way I wanted and setting up the lights.
Also, I want to give a big shoutout to Michal Zak our editor on the film, he was amazing!
