Hi everyone,
My name is Marco WestWood Gonzalez and I'm new to the site and still discovering it really. I'm a writer/director from San Diego, CA, but currently reside in LA. Just trying to figure out the next move to get myself out there and get my work seen. At the moment, I have a few feature screenplays written complete with pitch decks and am continuing to write more (with a few more outlines pretty much ready to go). At the same time, trying to keep making short films when I can, continue to practice my craft.
Anyway, this seems like a cool place to be, so hope I get to meet some of you, and even collaborate in the future. Thanks for reading!
My newest short in case you're interested:

Welcome, Marco WestWood Gonzalez. Great to meet you. I enjoyed the film. It was creative. I liked how you put a spin on "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly." Great production quality, directing, and acting. I subscribed to your channel.

Nice to meet you Maurice! Thanks a lot man! Thanks for checking it out.
You're welcome, Marco WestWood Gonzalez. I noticed your company's name says "WestWood" (the opposite of Clint Eastwood).

Yeah, that's where the name comes from. This is the closest thing I've made that actually invokes that namesake. A lot of Paul Schrader in here too though.

I know about Paul Schrader's movies (the movies he wrote and directed). I haven't seen many he has directed. I might have to check them out.

Oh yeah he's written some great movies like Taxi Driver and Last Temptation of Christ , but has also directed himself (First Reformed, American Gigolo, Hardcore). Check him out for sure!
