Wendy is an English actress, writer and producer. She wrote the screenplay for Obsessive Compulsive Love Disorder, which she has adapted into a TV series.
Wendy starred with Michael Madsen and Jean-Hughes Anglade in the feature film, The Ninth Cloud directed by Jane Spencer, which premiered on the indie film circuit at Raindance London and Los Angeles. She is currently acting in the film South Of Hope Street with William Baldwin and Michael Madsen. Her forthcoming roles are Suzanne Duchamp in the bio pic, The Velvet Gentleman with Rosanna Arquette, Gerard Depardieu and Jean-Hugues Anglade.
Her career began aged 18 in Berlin as a singer and song writer in a band with Art and Stew, who wrote a Broadway musical based on the bands adventures in Europe, later it was made into a movie, Passing Strange directed by Spike Lee. She has honed her craft as an actress in the London theatre, playing leading roles including Marjorie in Extremities and Inez in No Exit. She studied acting and theatre at the Actors Studio and film at the University of Westminster, where she learnt to write and direct in film and television and was awarded a distinction for her work.
Wendy is currently working on a new six part TV series titled Art Darlings, which she created over the last year. She is also working on a new feature film Please Don’t Be Long with comedian, Onur Tukel, Michael Madsen and Jane Spencer; a comedy, set in a limousine in the Swiss Alps. Wendy will play the female lead, Stefanie.
