I am now on day 122 after my stem cell transplant. I spent most of the time in or near the M D Anderson Cancer Center. I am now back in FL. Time to get cracking on revising several of my scripts and writing new ones.

Stem cell transplants are one of the newest weapons to control and defeat cancer. In my case, M D Anderson Cancer Center staff took my bother's stem cells and after intensive chemo to kill my own stem cells, they injected his into me. The first 100 days are critical to ensure my body accepts the new stem cells. They then multiply in me and I have new cancer free cells. This is my thrid type of cancer I've battled.

Thank goodness for medical research. I’m recovering from my second dbs brain implant for a progressive movement disorder. Haven’t lost my creativity. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

MD Anderson is an incredible facility, I'm glad your transplant went well. Heading back into the words is my favorite non-drug therapy! May you find lots of inspiration in your endeavors.
