I remember Sara saying she was going to find a way to share recommendations on entertainment attorneys. And to check back here in the lounge. Is that still happening?

Hey all! Sorry for the delay. I am so glad you all joined the webinar and found it helpful! Regarding attorneys, while ultimately you need to find the right fit for you and do your due diligence I can point you in the direction of a few (but am not endorsing them :) and after thinking about it I realize they have all done a Stage 32 webinar at some point so you can further check them out there too. I work with Kennington Groff for all my contracts. I also can suggest that Thomas Crowell really knows his stuff and Elsa Ramo is also highly regarded in the field. They are all at different price points and locations so check them out and I hope you find someone you love!

Thanks for the insight, folks. Need to check out this webinar. We got a foreign sales deal that includes an MG and the reaction was that things should be easy now to bring on other investors, but it definitely hasn't been and I'm looking for more brain tools to pave the way forward to greenlight our feature.

A senior lender will want the MG to be bankable before financing against it, which requires a reputable completion guarantee. Gap financing based on sales agent estimates for the unsold territories would usually follow in this model. The discount applied to the gap estimates is what attracts equity investors willing to bet on strong demand for the film.

Timo Puolitaipale Hey Timo, congrats on getting a foreign sales deal and a deal with MG! I wanted to share Sara Elizabeth's upcoming class on how to raise money and secure investors with a deep dive on the prospectus, pitch decks, verbal pitch, investor pitch cheat sheet, and more. Let me know if you have any questions. (I'll put a link below.) Are you presenting at AFM or other upcoming shows?
