The motivation for this film came about due to the gap that lies between Older people and Younger people. For example, how many teenagers would make the effort to talk to an older person sitting on a park bench? And likewise, many Older folks would avoid talking to teenagers in a park - sometimes out of fear, sometimes from the belief they wouldn't talk to them.. and so on. How do we break this cycle and show that there are benefits to the two extreme generations coming together to talk, share life's experiences and so much more.
I loved talking to my grandparents and my parents especially when they were much older. They lived in a world which was alien to me, and many of the things I took for granted in my world were alien to them.
In my film 'Seven Moments in Time', I try to address this issue in a dramatic, funny and unusual way. I hope to can start a productive conversation and maybe we can find a way to bridge the gap between the generations.
