I'm a former executive at a high-tech company who has been writing seriously for the past decade.
I'm the author of three novels: “RonnieandLennie,” a funny, sad, edgy story that spans decades and visits numerous venues as it chronicles the lives of twins conjoined at the chest by a rogue band of flesh; “Architect’s Rendition,” the story of a Machiavellian man who strives to secure the life he's always wanted by cutting a murderous swath through a cast of misfit characters – the kind who allow themselves to be deceived; and “Double Blind Test,” a tale of deceit, romance and lex talionis.
I'm also the author of the 2012 winner of the Indie Reader Discovery Award for best short story collection, “Sometimes the Sun Does Shine There and Other Stories.”I've penned several screenplays, some derived from my novel and short story work. I'm currently pitching stuff awaiting the moment when a gutsy producer decides to option one of them.
After several years working on screenplays, I recently published “Avarice, Deceit, Connivance and Revenge: Two Twisty Crime Screenplays.” And as a one-time avid blogger, I published “Culture Justly Scrutinized: A Take on Six Years of Virtue and Venality.” The collection delivers opinionated commentary, offers provocative thought experiments and covers topics esoteric, obscure and absurd – making “Culture Justly Scrutinized” a unique and valuable take on the period from about 2012-2018.
I'm a graduate of Syracuse University, and had spent more than 30 years in the technology industry specializing in supercomputing before retiring in 2019. I live in New York and make every effort to travel the world.Find more at majorterata.com

Welcome to the community, Herb Schultz. Congratulations on all of your success! You said you travel the world. The other day I was talking with Stage 32 members about how to come up with ideas. Traveling the world sounds like a great way to come up with some ideas.

Hi Herb Schultz - nice to meet you and thanks for sharing all of your work. "RonnieandLennie" reminds me of the real-life Daisy + Violet Hilton. I just purchased the Kindle version - excited to read this weekend!
