Introduce Yourself : 2023 is YOUR year - and mine too! by Roe Pacheco

Roe Pacheco

2023 is YOUR year - and mine too!

Hi There,

My name is Roe Pacheco - I am an actor in the 48 to 55 yr old range. (I'm actually older than that, but we have to give a range) I'm based in New England and Boston - but I have reps in NYC and a worldwide agent in New Mexico as well. I am now working on a a pilot screenplay, based on my own life as a (then) single mom  - but it is more like an anthology series, with each episode a different event, so to speak, that progesses to her modern life now. I've done lots of indie films and projects - but I have just joined SAG, and am now doing only Union or prrojects that are both Union and Non Union.  I also have a small business as a floral designer too, called Daniel Rose Silk Effects.

Recently a feature directed by Carter Smith ( 2 x time Sundance winner,  The Ruins, Midnight Kiss for Hulu, Jamie Marks is Dead, etc) that I had the pleasure to play a Border Patrol Agent in, was picked up to open on Valentine's Day -  on all platforms.

Here is a link if yu so desire to see the trailer - it is - I warn you - NOT for the squeamish.

I continue to train and make new content and challenge myself - staying busy and auditioning, etc.

Wishing you all the best of this new year- and I hope ALL your creative dreams come true.

Molly Peck

Hi Rosie, happy to see you on Stage 32! Your projects sounds really interesting, and you might want to talk more about them in the Screenwriting lounge: https://www.stage32.com/lounge/screenwriting

Maurice Vaughan

The "Swallowed" trailer is thrilling, Roe Pacheco! I'm squeamish, but I got through it. :) I know, I know. I'm squeamish, but I write Horror. Haha But most of the Horror I write isn't the squeamish-type.

An anthology series based on your life with each episode being a different event sounds really interesting!

Stephanie Munch

Nice to meet you Rosie, impressive resume! I'm a french author and screenwriter, horror is my favorite genre and I'm a New England lover as well :)

Roe Pacheco

Thank you all for the comments - I will definitely post in the screenwriting lounge, Molly!

Roe Pacheco

Stephanie Munch - NIce - have you visited recently?

Roe Pacheco

Maurice Vaughan I can be squeamish too, but I did not have a scene in those parts of this film ...lol

Shellie Schmals

Stephanie Munch

Sydney Summers

Roe Pacheco

Sydney Summers Thank you, I look forward to learning more about you :)

Roe Pacheco

Shellie Schmals Nice to meet you too - wonderful to meet all the women in the entertainment biz in some form - (and men, and any non binary folks as well) ..

Roe Pacheco

Stephanie Munch Wow, hope you do come back! I am going to Italy in the Fall, and was hoping to go to France as well, if possible, but if not this trip, another one...I see you write horror, as well as other stuff. I wrote a short horror film that was, an absolute "horror" to make. My first short EVER, and it was a mess, but it did get into the RIIFF ( RI International Film Festival). It never did have my vision, and the sound was so awful - all my fault, as I did not know then, as Exec. Producer, I could hire and fire. I was just so green about film making. What a learning experience that was ....

Maurice Vaughan

I've had A LOT of learning experiences in my career, Roe Pacheco. :) How's your anthology series coming along?
