I've been a screenwriter for a long time, but nobody could have prepared me for an email I received saying I got a job interview to be a local actor in my area! I do have experience in acting, but it's been a long time since I've done it! I was honest with them in my cover letter so I guess they appreciated that. It's been so cool having so many of my actor friends around the world cheering me on. I feel like I have the entire industry on my side and I won't feel alone going into this interview. It was because of screenwriting that I got this job interview so I'm thankful.
