Hi, I'm without an agent, is there any agent here that would like to represent me in this negotiation? I have a show called 'Civilian A' that is in an optioning negotiation?
It is very hard to get an agent, especially now with the strikes. Send a query letter to Zero Gravity Management. Let them know your show has been optioned. They are independent and seem to want to work with talent faster than the bigger named talent agents.
If its just an option, get a lawyer, not an agent. There are def some terms you want to look out for. Have an entertainment lawyer look at it! Technically, youre not supposed to be optioning anything right now during the strike.
if you're in the states yes, but the entire planet is still filming stuff, so it depends. Canada (east coast mainly) is still working full steam ahead on all the canadian productions. Vancouver (where I am) isn't, all the shows here are for the US productions so we are pretty much dead in the water.

If there is a legit upfront offer, hire an entertainment lawyer. Wasting $ paying agent fees.
GL.
Dont worry about agents. They're a dime a dozen(same as writers). If there is serious money offers, reps will contact you.

Don't take meetings during a strike. Don't make deals with non-WGA signatories.

I hired a lawyer and we're still in negotiations.
I always said it would take a lawyer five years just to pave a driveway:)
