Well I've tried historical fiction, then fantasy, after that.. let's see horror and then two crime dramas and the latest project was a psychological thriller. What do you write sir? Geoff Hall
Kiril Maksimoski Yeah you are definitely right. But also so many scripts get accepted into development even if they are not that good. Original ideas seem to be valued highly.
Cool, Canaan Kennedy. I mainly write feature scripts, but I also write shorts. Shorts are great to use as writing samples when applying for jobs, and shorts are great for practice.
Hey Canaan Kennedy I meet with a friend/colleague who likes to keep up with what I’m doing and she said that (no matter what the genre is) there is a common theme across them all and that’s ‘control’. Methods of control and methods of resistance. My psychological thriller is in development. I’m currently writing an animated social fantasy which I’ll work to get a proof of concept made. In the past I’ve written: a dark comedic Pharma Drama, a family action drama, supernatural horror, a conspiracy action pilot, a pilot for an international (European) spy thriller and a dystopian novel. There’s more, but there we go, that’s my writer’s smorgasbord!

I've written just a couple, one in 2001 and now a guy wanna hire me impressed of that one...so it's quality, not quantity matter...

Maurice Vaughan No. I only write 60 minute Tv pilots or features! All original, not spec!

Same here. 243 pages of series scripts this year so far.

What do you mean by original? Canaan Kennedy
Here in America, original usually means spec. Speculative screenplays. On your own time.

Dan MaxXx So original I mean that it's my own idea. I own the rights to the idea
