Hello, all. My name is Frank Macleod, and I've introduced myself a few times before.
The last time I was on here, a few of you asked me about a screenplay I was working on and had mentioned earlier.
For a while I was concerned it would require a lot of CGI, which, of course, is very costly.
Recently, however, I discovered a way to do it without any SFX, and to tell the story in a much simpler form.
As you all know, the writing process is like that: stops and starts, twists and turns, and a fair bit of aggravation.
But we do it anyway.
I hope you are all well, despite these trying times

Hey, Frank Macleod. Nice to see you again. Yeah, the writing process is like that. Stops and starts, twists and turns, a fair bit of aggravation, more stops and starts, more twists and turns, "What in the world's going on!?," etc., etc. Haha
Glad you discovered a way to write your script without SFX. There's gonna be a lot more buyers for you to pitch to.

Hey Maurice. Nice to see you again too.
Yes, the bottom line applies to everything--even in the arts.

You're right, Frank Macleod. When I write a script, I think "Do I really need this character/location/scene/etc." It lowers the budget and tightens up the script.

It teaches you to think economically.

Thanks for the update Frank Macleod. From just a story perspective, I think it's really valuable to see how you can tell your story without VFX. So props to you.
