When I submitted my TV pilot to Elena B for the 10 page review. Some of what she complained about did not make sense. Because the things she critiqued in my submission, she also offered advice afterwards that was completely opposed to whatever she said was wrong with my TV pilot to begin with.
It almost seemed as if she was trying to make me feel like there was no hope of improving the submission I gave her. I am not sure why she would do this, unless she was hoping i would abandon my TV pilot or the hope of it ever being successful and stop trying to do anything with it, so that perhaps she could take the idea and use it herself for Bold and Beautiful Productions.
Because it is a totally original concept, and maybe she felt that if I stopped submitting it, she could then use the idea herself and take credit for it. I do not see how though because it is already registered with LOC.
But she cannot do that now anyway, because I have just submitted it somewhere else, so that if she tries to do that, she may find herself trying to produce a TV show that someone else has already agreed to take a look at and perhaps produce as well.
So it may end up being a very embarrassing situation for her if she tries to do that.
And I'm sorry if i am coming off like a big worry wart, or if i am sounding a bit out of line, but it's because some of what she claimed in her critique did not make much sense to me, so it naturally got me thinking, and what you've just read is the conclusion I've come up with.
But hopefully I am wrong. I do apologize if i have offended anyone. But i just do not want to see my stuff get ripped off and end up showing up on TV one day without my approval. Which is why I have gone and submitted it to someone else right afterwards on another site in another program so that others will know about the TV show and that it belongs to me, just in case anyone does ever try anything with it, without my consent.

I'm not sure what the criticism and advice were, Dwayne Pagnotto, but I wouldn't worry about Elena taking your idea and using it. I'd just use what you can from her criticism and advice. And keep in mind ideas can't be copyrighted. The expression of an idea can be copyrighted, which you've already done.

Yes, yer right of course Maurice. It's just that her advice and criticism did not match up. It's like she'd tell me what was wrong, but then the advice she offered , if i took it would only make the problem worse or something. I don't know, it sounds funny in a way i guess...lol.
But i just got the feeling that something deeper was going on there. But anyway, thank you again as always my friend. yer advice helps to keep me straight and on track, and I'm very grateful for that.
Take care.

You're welcome, Dwayne Pagnotto. "then the advice she offered , if i took it would only make the problem worse or something." If you feel like the advice will do more harm than help, don't use it. Have a great weekend, my friend. Hope the other producer loves your show!

Thanks my friend. I hope so as well. And yes, I am not listening to what she told me because it is opposed to what i was trying to do with my teleplay.
