I actually read this book many years ago but it was a gamechanger for my craft as an actor.
When I read it I had been on stage over 1000 times at a professional theater in many productions.
But still I felt insecure about my acting skills.
This book helped my overcome my insecurities because of it's very concrete nuts and bolts approach to acting. No more confusion about what to do, how to approach a scene, script or character.
I recommend this book to every actor.
Larry Moss works with Leonardo DiCaprio on most of his movies and was Hilary Swank's acting coach for Million dollar baby. The rest is history.
I worked with Larry Moss 4 times subsequently and he really lived up to his reputation.
He is a great no nonsense acting coach and his book transports the way he teaches the craft of acting very well.
