Hi folks,
I’ve been using readthrough.com a lot in the last few days. I don’t know if I have mentioned this site previously. But it is a great way to get a “table read” of your work.
You can select voices, style of voices etc and it gives good insight into rhythm and feel, especially if your action lines and descriptions.
It is free.

I've been planning on using readthrough.com, Craig D Griffiths. I'll probably use it once I finish the first draft of my script.

Would make a change from me using 'read aloud' on PDF.

I didn't realise it was the Writer Duet product. They have it included for their Premium Membership, I'm on the next tier down so no dice. Maybe the free version is slightly different, or it's a strategy to drive writers to their overall product. Bizarre.

It is also a great tool to collect notes from others.

@Mark Giacomin, it was developed mostly out of curiosity with no specific business plan or aims for monetisation. I've been lucky enough to meet with Guy Goldstein (creator of WriterDuet) and he just loves creating useful tools. Amazing dude. Well worth watching to see what he does next.

Appreciate the context CJ Walley. Writer Duet had a discount for the lifetime membership last weekend so decided to take advantage of it (been using it for years)... long term investment. Looking forward to hearing the script come to life!

Craig D Griffiths Thanks, Craig! I like the option of choosing voice styles. Almost done with my very first horror script. Looking forward to taking it for a test drive.

Great tool Craig! But does it delete the choosen voices if you upload a new script version?
