This is a neat interview of the creator of Hazbin Hotel which represents a potential new model of how animated series can be created, funded and distributed.

Ma Ho all, interesting, I have a problem and may be you have a solution ? I have written a theatre script that needs converting into an animation formatted script. I created a Community theatre group based on Folk History teaching ancient Cymru/Welsh traditions in schools and at events. The script is about, Nos Galan Gaeaf, ( The Night of the Heart of Winter ) So I want to create a 10-15 minute short film, for funding and as a small part to a larger script, but it will stand alone as a proof of Concept. You will say that can be done by a couple of frames, but Cymru Folk Lore gets very little funding? Its not an accident, only now are we allowed to teach Welsh History from a Cymru perspective. The Story is untold, its new old and has a lot to offer. I have Cardiff Met University standing by waiting for the revised script. I did try to get a Screen writer to format it for me, but he wanted a lot of money. As I am a community based group we want it to be a community project, but money is king...can you help? Rhisiart

P.S. Night of the Heart of Winter is a Welsh Halloween.

Go to any film festival and you will see lots of cool indie animation films like these. There is still so much untapped potential out there in the animation space that's just begging to get unleashed!

It's great to see how many avenues are available to indie creators and the potential is unparalleled. The business model is certainly attainable to a much wider creative community than in years past, too bad this show is a kinda insulting to anyone who believes in the Bible. It reminds me of that Texas artist that tried to make a cartoon of Muhammad which didn't end well. Why aren't the politically correct and sensitivity police condemning Amazon Prime and Hazben Hotel for offending 2.38 Billion Christians in the world? And I'm not even Catholic, weird.
Daniel Husbands This is not the forum for me to comment on the nature of creative content or why it isn't being protested. I'm just reporting an avenue for indie animators to produce projects that mean something to them.
